The mission the Shires Young Professional group is to help young professionals and families create deep roots in our community that encourage them to stay and build a prosperous life in the Shires of Vermont. The SYP looks to engage, emerge, and empower young professionals throughout the region.
We believe that one of the best ways to get to know your community and build new friendships is to help out at some of the region’s best events! In partnership with the Southwestern VT Chamber of Commerce, the SYP is instrumental in the region’s Spring and Fall Homebrew Festival competitions, as well as Garlic Festival and Garlic Town! Plus, you get some sweet swag, food, tickets, drinks and more when you volunteer!
